Judith Huddart B.A. LL.B
Judith is trained in both Collaborative Law (Practice) and in Mediation and has been a long-time advocate for more government support of non-adversarial options for family law clients. Judith believes that with information and support separating couples have the ability to choose the best outcome for their family. During her 35 years of practice she has been an active volunteer, supporting the interests of family law clients within the Ontario Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association.
As a founding member and Past Chair of Collaborative Practice Toronto and a Past President of the Ontario Collaborative Law Federation, Judith has seen the benefits for couples of working in an interdisciplinary team approach to improve communications, consider more options, and create solutions tailored to the needs of their particular family – especially the needs of any children.
Judith has been an invited participant and presenter at various provincial, national and international family law programs as well as a guest commentator on current issues in Family Law on radio and television and in print media. In her “spare time” Judith finds time to work in her garden.
